We put together a list of several players who have already entered their names in CFB’s transfer portal that Michigan should take a hard look at. The NCAA also recently passed a rule that transfer can have immediate eligibility.
DT Timmy Horne – already noted by 247sports’ Steve Lorenz to have Michigan interest, Horne is a three year starter for Charlotte. He is over 300-pounds and DT is a major position of need with the lack of production this year, not signing a DT in three straight recruiting classes and Carlo Kemp likely leaving.
2016 DT Timmy Horne of #Charlotte has entered the transfer portal after totaling 101 tackles, 14 TFL and 2 sacks with 49ers; 6'5" 320 lbs @rivalsmike @RivalsWoody

RB TJ Pledger – While RB is not a need for Michigan, Pledge, a former top 100 recruit who Michigan was targetting – entered the portal after several years at Oklahoma. With the addition of Donovan Edwards, the likely return of Hassan Haskins, Blake Corum and Zach Charbonnet, Michigan will most likely not be adding a RB.
Thank you Sooner Nation for an amazing 3 years. Thank you Coach Riley and Coach Murray for believing in me this year. I have decided to enter the Transfer Portal. GODSPEED
