With signing day for the 2021 class just 11 days away, there is still uncertainty of Jim Harbaugh’s job status with Michigan during a tumultuous 2020 season. Rivals’ Chris Balas is reporting it is most likely Jim Harbaugh will be back next year and an extension will likely be announced next week:
Apparently there is smoke at Rivals from Chris Balas (he blocked me) that Harbaugh signed a 3 year extension and it’ll be announced next week.

This might be the last Iowa State game I watch in a long time. Because if Michigan announces a contract extension for Jim Harbaugh next week, it's going to be way, way too painful to watch Matt Campbell coach a football game anytime soon.

Look for lots of changes with the assistant coaches:
Harbaugh is back? If so, he better clean house. This team has zero fire…

Meanwhile, Michigan is scheduled to play Ohio State on Saturday but with a Covid breakout, it seems unlikely they suit up in Columbus. We’ll have to wait and see how it all unfolds.
