The 6-foot-10 power forward out of IMG Academy (originally from France) is ranked as the No. 20 player in the 2021 class. Michigan already has the No. 1 class in the country.

Diabate joins five-star Caleb Houstan, four-stars PG Frankie Collins, SG Kobe Bufkin, SF Isaiah Barnes and three-star Will Tschetter.
