Michigan Defender Tabbed One Of The Most ‘Versatile’ In The Nation

247sports tabbed Michigan’s Khaleke Hudson as one of the most versatile in the country:

Michigan’s VIPER and Peppers’ successor at Michigan, Hudson is a different sort of player than the former Wolverines’ All-American. Hudson is better around the line of scrimmage and excels as a pass rusher, while Peppers’ talents were largely based in coverage/his ability with the ball. That doesn’t make him any less effective, mind you. Hudson finished the 2017 season with 77 tackles, 16 tackles for loss and a pair of INTs. His PFF College grade that year (87.8) was better than anything Peppers posted in his career. But Hudson does have a bit to prove entering his senior year. It’s hard to label his 2018 effort (39 tackles, 3 TFL) as anything but a disappointment. When Hudson announced he’d return to Michigan for his senior year it came with the boldfaced phrase: “Unfinished business.” It’ll be interesting to see which version of Hudson college football sees next season. Here’s to betting he looks more like the 2017 than 2018 iteration.
