Shea Patterson, who is practicing with the Wolverines and drawing high remarks from Jim Harbaugh, has still yet to hear back from the NCAA regarding his eligibility next fall. While Ole Miss has denied any wrongdoing and thinks the NCAA shouldn’t allow the QB to be eligible next year, that hasn’t stopped Thomas Mars, Patterson’s lawyer, from feeling confident about his clients’ case:
“I have never believed that the odds of Shea getting a waiver were any less than 75 percent. And there have been times I thought they were a lot higher,” attorney Thomas Mars told the Free Press. “And, frankly, right now I don’t think my confidence level has been any higher.”
