Notre Dame Defensive Starter Announces Plans To Grad-Transfer

Jay Hayes, a starter on Notre Dame’s defense and a senior, shared that he will be transferring elsewhere for his final year of eligibility:

Notre Dame, which opens the 2019 season against Michigan, will likely turn to former four-star recruit and Michigan native, Khalid Kareem, to replace Hayes at DT.
