Calvin Anderson, a grad-transfer out of Rice, talked with Maize N Brew’s Trevor Woods about the resignation of Tim Drevno.
A few weeks ago Anderson called Drevno a huge factor and big reason he may come to Michigan.
Anderson told Maize ‘n’ Brew he found out about Drevno’s departure from the program this morning, and said the he was surprised by the news. As far as Drevno’s resignation impacting Anderson committing to Michigan, Anderson said he hasn’t had enough time to process the news yet.
New OL coach Ed Warinner has a connection to Anderson:
One subplot to the #Michigan staff moves: Drevno had been recruiting gifted grad transfer LT Calvin Anderson who I spoke to this morning. He told me UM's new OL coach Ed Warinner actually was an assistant at Army when Anderson's dad was a DB at West Point. https://t.co/N6LXW0CZcJ

Anderson is expected to wait until it is announced whether Shea Patterson will be eligible. Texas and Michigan are believed to be the front-runners.
