Details of Johnson’s arrest last weekend:
“A little after 2 a.m. (on Sept. 30) one of our housing security officers found a female student outside South Quad residence hall and she reported she had been assaulted,” Michigan Division of Public Safety and Security spokesperson Diane Brown said Monday. “We located the male nearby and placed him under arrest for domestic violence and took him to jail.”
Johnson played wide receiver his freshman year but switched over to cornerback this season. A former three-star 2016 recruit out of Thompson’s Station, Tennessee, had not played a snap in 2017. He caught one-pass for four-yards in 2016.
