Team USA Basketball took on France in the preliminary rounds of Group A on Sunday. France’s Tony Parker played the game wearing these goggles, which may have contributed to Team USA crushing France, 98-71.
As you may know, Tony Parker was in attendance at W.i.P in New York, where hip hop star Drake and his entourage brawled with Chris Brown. Parker had his cornea scratched by a thrown glass bottle and had to undergo surgery to remove a shard of glass from his eye.
These goggles are the result of the eye injury. Parker will wear them for the duration of the tournament.
