Michigan State defensive lineman Malik McDowell, who is slated to be a top 15 pick in this year’s NFL Draft, will forgo his senior campaign in East Lansing and turn pro, 247sports Sean Scherer is reporting:
The 6-foot-7, 275-pound McDowell played in a total of 36 games at Michigan State and started 24 of them. McDowell recorded 90 tackles, 24.5 for loss, and 7.5 sacks during his career at Michigan State. He missed the last three games of his junior season due to injury.
