After re-opening his recruitment from Notre Dame earlier in the week, four-star DE Donovan Jeter committed to Michigan on Sunday following a weekend visit to Ann Arbor. The Beaverton, Philadelphia native explained the commitment to ESPN:
Donovan Jeter told me earlier today he was committing to Michigan bc of how well his visit went and how comfortable he felt w Harbaugh

Donovan Jeter also told me earlier today that his top 3 going into the visit were Notre Dame, Pitt and Michigan but the visit blew him away

Jeter also took a swipe at Notre Dame’s Brian Kelly in the process of committing to the Wolverines:
“He doesn’t act like he’s important,” Jeter said about Jim Harbaugh. “He’s real down to earth and humble. He’s easy to talk to. Talking to Brian Kelly wasn’t fun. It wasn’t cool. You have to make an appointment just to go to his office. Coach Harbaugh has an open-door policy. Every one of Michigan’s coaches has an open-door policy.”
