Senior tailback Drake Jonson has yet to dress this year for the Wolverines, and according to Scout.com’s Sam Webb, that could be the case for the remainder of the 2016-17 season.
While it’s unknown what injury Johnson is currently dealing with, the Ann Arbor native was run over by a forklift during the offseason and previously suffered two season-ending ACL tears.
Webb notes that Michigan is considering a possible 6th-year option for Johnson, who has rushed for 641-yards on 116-carries and eight touchdowns in three years of action for the Maize and Blue.
