Update: According to Cleveland.com, Gibson is still in Columbus and plans to return in January.
“We have a plan for Torrance to come back. He should be back in January as long as everything goes to plan,” wide receivers coach Zach Smith said Wednesday. “We just have to stick to the plan and go through the process.”
It was announced earlier on Monday that Torrance Gibson, a freshman WR out of Ohio State, will miss the entire season after ‘violating the student code of conduct.’ According to Jordan Strack, a reporter out of Toledo, the Florida native was suspended after harassing his former tutor.
Source tells me Torrance Gibson was suspended from Ohio State because a former tutor claimed she was harassed. Buckeyes appealed and lost.
