Uruguay is out of the World Cup after losing to 2-0 to Colombia on Sunday afternoon without their main striker Luis Suarez, who was banned by FIFA from all soccer related activities for four months after biting Italy’s Giorgio Chiellini in the shoulder.
Suarez, who has a history of biting players on the pitch, released this apology to Chiellini on his Twitter.
Chiellini responded to Suarez’s apology, saying he wishes FIFA would reduce his suspension:
