Goal-Line Technology Makes Its World Cup Debut On France’s Karim Benzema’s Goal

During France’s 3-0 win over Honduras on Sunday, goal-line technology made its World Cup debut. Karim Benzema, (who would have had a hat trick on the day had FIFA not called this an own-goal), had a shot which went off the cross bar and crossed the goal line before Honduras goalie Noel Valladares was able to stop it.
