The St. Louis Blues have locked up arguably one of the top players in the NHL for the next eight seasons. It was announced Tuesday that the Blues have agreed to a 8-year, $60 million dollar contract with right-winger Vladimir Tarasenko.

At an average of $7.5M a year, Tarasenko’s contract will be in the top 10 of the NHL next year. The 23-year-old finished with 37-goals and 73-points last season for the Blues.
