Sidney Crosby scores filthy goal against Islanders
Published
After New York Islanders forward John Tavares made a fantastic series of moves and almost scored to cut the Pittsburgh Penguins lead to one, Sidney Crosby decided to show off his world-class skills. Crosby picked up the puck from Jarome Iginla in the neutral zone and went to work on Islanders defensemen Thomas Hickey and Lubomir Visnovsky. Crosby split the two defenseman with a fantastic series of dangles and then stayed on his feet after Hickey made a last ditch effort trying to shove him down. Crosby then walked in alone and buried a gorgeous shot low blocker to extend the Penguins lead to 3-0.
