Buffalo Sabres goalie Jhonas Enroth was down and out when he did the only thing he could think of to make a save and miraculously it worked. A diving save with your back is certainly not conventional, but it got the job done.
Enroth wasn’t even supposed to play tonight. Starter Michal Neuvirth got hurt and so he was inserted into the lineup, and former NHLer Arturs Irbe (now Sabres goalie coach) got to dress as the emergency backup.
