The Grand Rapids Griffins and the Charlotte Checkers faced off in the AHL on Tuesday night and produced quite a highlight. Detroit Red Wings prospect Andreas Athanasiou disarmed one of the Checkers defenseman to get the puck and then actually undressed the other defenseman en route to this sick goal. It’s honestly hilarious to watch the Checkers’ players stick fly out of his hands as Athanasiou lifted it.
