10. Anze Kopitar, C, Los Angeles Kings
9. Ryan Getzlaf, C, Anaheim Ducks – The best power forward in the NHL. After adding 87 points in 77 games last year, he’s put up 44 points in 40 games this year.
8. Shea Weber, D, Nashville Predators – The best overall defenseman in the NHL and he is an absolute minute-muncher.
7. Pekka Rinne, G, Nashville Predators – Missed all of last year with injuries and illnesses, but he’s finally healthy and is dominating. A 2.00 GAA with a .929 save percentage is insanity. If he had played last year, I would have ranked him as the #1 goalie on this list. He’s incredible and the only reason Nashville is climbing the standings.
6. Jonathan Quick, G, Los Angeles Kings – Quick has been steady as usual, and can never be counted out to steal games.
