The NHL Stadium Series game between the Los Angeles Kings and the Anaheim Ducks at Dodger Stadium will not only have a game going on, but there will be a beach volleyball court in the outfield and an inline hockey rink over home plate. It seems that Dodger Stadium and the NHL is fully embracing the fact that the game is being played outside in a warm environment.
According to the Los Angeles Times’ Helene Elliot:
A rendering provided to The Times shows many wondrous sights that will be constructed on the field—an avenue of palm trees separating a beach volleyball court in left field from a performance stage in right field, an inline skating rink near home plate, and the rink stretching across the infield—but having Gretzky in the house might be the most splendid vision of all.
The stage will have performances by KISS, Jordin Sparks and John Ondrasik of Five for Fighting during the intermissions and the USC Trojan Marching Band will perform as well.

It definitely looks like a cool event and will be a must-see. Hopefully the ice holds up and provides for a competitive game.
