How many NHL GMs does it take to work a TV? Answer: More than two
Published
During their Saturday afternoon game against the Detroit Red Wings, Edmonton Oilers General Manager Steve Tambellini had trouble working the television in the Executive Suite at Joe Louis Arena.
It became such an issue that Tambellini called over Red Wings GM Ken Holland to help him get the television on the right channel. Holland apparently couldn’t get it to work either as he appeared to get more and more frustrated during his attempt.
You have to wonder if they ever got the television working and what was actually wrong with the remote/television. It’s a good thing that both of them are far better at their jobs than they are fixing a television.
