This doesn’t come as a shock to me personally, but it was pretty impressive. Colorado Avalanche phenom Nathan MacKinnon is one of the fastest players in the NHL and his acceleration is incredible. In a new commercial advertising the new CCM Tacks Skates, MacKinnon beat an Olympic Gold Medal Short Track Speed Skater Charles Hamelin in a blue line to blue line race. Now if it was more than just accelerating and was skating in an actual circle, MacKinnon probably would have had some issues.
