This was a pretty scary moment in the Colorado Avalanche-Toronto Maple Leafs game. Avs’ Jan Hejda stepped up and laid a hit on Daniel Winnick and he somersaulted in the air and landed on his head. He was out cold and had to be stretchered off.
Thankfully he was alert and was walking around afterwards.
Leafs say Daniel Winnik is alert and moving. He is currently being evaluated by the Leafs' team doctor.
