Kyle Turris scores sick game-winner on terrible angle snipe
Published
This shot was very Steve Stamkos-esque. On a four-on-three powerplay late in overtime, the Ottawa Senators wanted to get the extra point badly against their division opponent the Buffalo Sabres. Senators captain Daniel Alfredsson set up Kyle Turris with a nice pass and Turris absolutely buried it. He had a terrible angle, positioning himself at the bottom of the circle, but that didn’t stop him from ripping a slapshot short-side high blocker past Ryan Miller. This shot was simply incredible and probably had no business going in with such little room for error. Turris finished the game with two goals and was a crucial part in the Senators victory.
