Jimmy Howard robs John Mitchell

At the start of the third period, Detroit Red Wings goalie Jimmy Howard was left completely out to dry as Colorado Avalanche forward John Mitchell was left alone in front.  Howard was down and out of it but managed to reach across at the last second to knock the puck out of the air.  Howard stood on his head all night and finished the game with 37 saves and the 2-1 victory.
