Jean-Gabriel Pageau loses tooth, hands it to backup goalie, scores hattrick

The Ottawa Senators-Montreal Canadiens playoff series has been the most intriguing series and it all started with Eric Gryba crushing Lars Eller and continued with Brandon Prust calling Ottawa’s head coach Paul MacLean a “bug-eyed fat walrus.”

A new trend has started in this series, a player has lost a tooth in every single game and the team with the player that loses the tooth wins the game.  Senators goalie Craig Anderson lost a tooth game one, Canadiens goalie Carey Price lose one in game two and now Senators forward Jean-Gabriel Pageau lost one.  Pageau lost it after he scored his first goal of the game and he ended up going on to complete the hat trick in the third period after an epic line brawl.  It was pretty funny to watch Pageau looking for the tooth on the ice after celebrating his goal and then to watch him hand the tooth to the Senators backup goalie Robin Lehner.

The game finished with 236 penalty minutes and Paul MacLean pissed off the Canadiens even more by calling a timeout with a 6-1 lead and with only 17 seconds left in the game.

It was certainly a night to remember in Ottawa.
