The Toronto Maple Leafs were on the brink of elimination entering game five, down 3-1 in the series heading back to Boston. The Boston Bruins didn’t play their best game, but Maple Leafs goalie James Reimer put together a performance to remember, stopping 43 of 44 shots including this amazing toe save. With the game tied at 0 halfway through the second period, the puck bounced off the backwall and out front to Patrice Bergeron who had a wide open net. Reimer made a desperation move to get across the crease and managed to barely get the puck with the toe of his skate. The save kept the momentum in the Maple Leafs favor and helped lead them to a 2-1 lead.
