Islanders’ John Tavares Spears Devils’ Marek Zidlicky In The Nuts

New York Islanders forward John Tavares was cruising through the neutral zone when he took a hip check right to the knee from New Jersey Devils defenseman Marek Zidlicky. Tavares did not like the hit, to say the least, and got up and speared Zidlicky right in the family jewels.

Tavares was only given two minutes for slashing on the play, but it wouldn’t shock me if he got fined or suspended for the play.
