Brad Marchand throws water bottle on ice before overtime
Published
Boston Bruins head coach Claude Julien was trying to get Nathan Horton’s attention prior to the overtime, presumably to tell him something about the Toronto Maple Leafs forward line they sent out. It was rocking in the TD Garden and Horton couldn’t hear him. A bunch of Bruins players started banging their sticks and hollering to get his attention, but it was Brad Marchand who finally got it done. Marchand casually reached down and grabbed a water bottle and tossed it on the ice, in an effort to keep the play from starting and allow his coach to speak to Horton. I would expect nothing less from Marchand, who opponents have grown to hate for his pest tactics.
