You have to really feel for Nick Foligno here. The Blue Jackets forward was just trying to work hard and break up a 2-on-1 pass and it went as bad as possible. Foligno deflected the puck into his goalie Curtis McElhinney and then crashed into him, knocking the puck into the net. To make things worse, McElhinney was hurt on the play and had to leave the game.
Foligno would score a goal later against the Ottawa Senators, but the Blue Jackets fell to the Sens, 3-2.
