Ray Lewis: Mountain Climber?
Former Ravens LB and future ESPN talking head Ray Lewis has traded in his football cleats for some climbing boots. Lewis will attempt to summit all 19,000 feet of Mt. Kilimanjaro this summer to raise money and awareness for clean water projects in East Africa–a tall task for a noble cause.
In a statement regarding the climb, Lewis revealed that he plans to bring the same psycho intensity to this climb as he did to the gridiron: “I am so FIRED UP for this adventure, but until then, I need your help to bring clean water wells to thousands of children and families.”
If anyone could ever tackle a mountain, Lewis is your man for the job. Go get ’em Ray Ray.
