With the NBA trade deadline nearing (February 19th), with the Bulls dealing with several injuries (Joakim Noah, Doug McDermott, Mike Dunleavy) and with the uncertainty in the front-office, there’s a possibility Chicago may look to acquire a solid bench player/starting small forward to help their chances come playoff time.
While several potential trade options have been mentioned: Norris Cole, Gerald Green and Greg Monroe, the best for the Bulls may be the Denver Nuggets’ Wilson Chandler. Chandler, averaging 13.8 ppg. and 6.1 rpg. this season, would likely take over Mike Dunleavy’s small forward spot. The 27-year-old is also only under contract through the 2015 season.

Chandler would certainly be an upgrade over Tony Snell for the Bulls. What they would have to part with to get Chandler may be the issue. Chicago does have the Cavs’ 2015 first-round pick to possibly dangle.
It will be interesting to see if the Bulls make a deal or wait for Ray Allen, whose status is still up in the air,
