Nate Robinson, who played with the Chicago Bulls during the 2012-13 season, would be interested in a reunion with his former team, USA Today reports.
Robinson’s potential signing with Chicago all depends on the severity of Derrick Rose’s injury. If Rose is able to return this season, it seems unlikely Robinson, 30, who was bought out by the Celtics earlier this year, would play in Chicago.
Tom Thibodeau said he was unsure of long-term plans of having Aaron Brooks as the starting point guard. This could mean that they’re either in the market for a point guard (Nate Robinson) or that Kirk Hinrich could be the starter going forward.
Chicago could also go the D-League route and look for someone to sign on a 10-day contract. Larry Drew II, Tim Frazier and Aaron Craft all could be options.
