Derrick Rose and several other members of the Chicago Bulls sat down for interviews during Monday’s media day. Rose, who had a particularly funny moment when he couldn’t spot a reporter, also announced that he thinks the Chicago Bulls will win a championship in the near future.
“I try my hardest to stay away from (the predictions),” Rose said. “But we know we have an opportunity ahead of us. It may not be this year, it may not be the next year or whatever, but I know that we have one (in us). I know I’m going to win a championship soon so I’m not worried about that.”

The expectations are sky high in Chicago and for good reasons. The current Bulls roster is one of the strongest they’ve had in a long time, with the addition of Pau Gasol and a healthy Rose. Nonetheless, it will be fun watching a team try and win its first NBA title since the 1997-98 season starting October 29th against the New York Knicks.
