B.J. Upton and Justin Upton became the first brothers to hit back-to-back home runs since the Waner brothers did so in 1938 with the Pittsburgh Pirates.
B.J. led the fifth inning of Tuesday’s double-header with the Colorado Rockies off with a shot to left field. Justin then followed his older brother up with a blast to right-center field.
According to USA Today, it’s the 27th time in MLB history two brothers have hit homeruns in the same game, but the second time it has been consecutive.
