ESPN released an info-graph of the 25 highest paid athletes in the world, with Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather taking home the honors of the highest paid, taking home $73.5 million last season. Second and third on the list are Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo and Barcelono’s Lionel Messi, earning just over $50M. No.4 is Aaron Rodgers, who is the top bread winner of the seven quarterbacks who made the list, at $40M.
Although the Tigers’ Miguel Cabrera and the Dodgers’ Clayton Kershaw didn’t make the list for last year, after Miggy’s 10yr/$292 and Kershaw’s 7yr/$215, they’ll likely make it next year.
