Carlos Arredondo and Jeff Bauman are two of the most recognizable faces from the Boston Marathon Bombings on April 15th. The iconic photo that went viral was Arredondo holding shut a vital artery for Bauman as he was pushed in a wheel chair, saving Bauman’s life. On Tuesday night, the two made it to Fenway Park to throw out the first pitch before the Boston Red Sox-Philadelphia Phillies game.
Bauman was one of the men to help identify the two bombers shortly after he woke up and it is amazing that despite losing both his legs a little more than a month ago, he seemed in great spirits and managed to launch a strike. Both of these men are truly inspiring.
