All-Star Anthony Rizzo made an incredible acrobatic catch during the Cubs’ 3-2 loss to the Diamondbacks on Sunday, falling over Chicago’s dugout in the process. It would’ve behooved him to let the ball fall foul, though, due to rule 7.04(c), which states that because Rizzo was completely out of the field of play, the runners on first and third were allowed to advance a base. Arizona rookie David Peralta then scored a run, which eventually wound up being the difference in the game.
