Tiger Woods had a bumpy start to his time at Medinah Country Club for the Ryder Cup. On the 18th hole of his practice round today, Woods hit an errant tee shot that struck a fan in the head. Woods repeatedly apologized for the incident and when the fan said it wasn’t his fault, Tiger replied with “yes it was,” drawing a laugh from the crowd.
This is not the first time that something like this has happened to Woods. The YouTube video above is just one of the many incidents caught on camera. The good news for Tiger? There is a policy that you enter the golf course at your own risk and being struck by a golf ball is not a sue-able offense.
