P.J. Fleck, the new head coach of the Western Michigan Broncos football team, has some pretty sweet business cards that he is handing out to people. They’re shaped like a boat, with the team slogan “Row The Boat” on them, and the cards are apparently made out of real wood. Fleck has done a lot to change the way things are at Western, including having his team take a “polar plunge” earlier this year.
For those that don’t know what the slogan “Row The Boat” means, here is Fleck’s explanation:
When rowing a boat, you can’t see what is in front but it is going forward. You can’t see who is behind you but you must trust they are doing what they are supposed to when they are supposed to. If we can get everyone rowing at same direction, speed, power and efficiency then we will get to where we want to be.
