On Monday, the Chick-Fil-A Bowl Challenge held its annual golf skills competition where BCS College Coaches and their celebrity partners compete for $20,000 in scholarship money for their respective schools. It’s a two-day event, on the first day is the closest to the pin and longest drive competitions, and then on the second day the coaches and their celebrity partners play Reynolds Plantation Golf Course. They compete on the second day for more than $700,000 in scholarship money and prizes.
If they want to win in the future, Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer and South Carolina head coach Steve Spurrier should work on their golf swings.
How Urban Meyer’s swing produced a 254 yard drive is beyond me. I also have to say I’m a little disappointed that Bo Jackson didn’t hit the ball 400 yards.
