Brian Hartline, a former Ohio State WR, was announced as the interim WR coach after the team fired WR Zach Smith earlier this week. ESPN’s Dan Murphy has the scoop on Urban Meyer knowing about Smith’s domestic abuse incident at Florida back in 2009:
Meyer said he was not aware of the 2015 arrest that was reported yesterday. Police in Powell, OH refused this morning to confirm or deny that Smith was arrested in 2015. No record of charges exist in online court documents for that time.
