Tyrone Wheatley Jr. Talks About Weight Goal, New Coach Greg Frey

Heading into his redshirt sophomore campaign, Tyrone Wheatley could be starting for the Wolverines at TE this fall. Wheatley, who had 3-catches for 35-yards and a touchdown last year, told MLive.com’s Nick Baumgardner that Greg Frey’s coaching is already paying dividends and that he likes where his weight is at now.

Talked with Tyrone Wheatley Jr for a bit today. Says he's in his goal range weight-wise. Won't give specifics, but says he feels faster.

Wheatley noted that Greg Frey has done a lot for him and the other TEs with run blocking techniques. All are eager for more snaps
