It was announced on Tuesday that Shane Morris will seek a graduate transfer and play his final year of college ball outside of Ann Arbor. While it is still unknown where Morris, who will be eligible immediately, will suit up, the Detroit News’ Tony Paul is hearing that Central Michigan is the front-runner to land the former four-star prospect:

While at Michigan, Morris was 47-of-92 passing for 434 yards and five interceptions. The Warren (Mich.) native also tallied 87 yards rushing on 18 attempts.
The Chippewas are in need of a new quarterback next fall as Cooper Rush, who has been CMU’s starter the last three seasons, is graduating.
Thomas Rawls, a former Michigan RB who is now in the NFL with the Seattle Seahawks, was the last Wolverine to transfer to Central Michigan.
