With many college football players already entering their names into the transfer portal, Ohio State seems to have a bunch of spots to fill including QB with Kyle McCord entering as well. Cam Ward, arguably the best QB on the market and a former Washington State starter, was predicted to go to Ohio State by 247sports’ JD Pickell:

There is the belief that Ward and Ohio State have already been in communications.
After going from Incarnate Word to Washington State, Ward has seen his profile rise yet again. He’ll be a coveted prospect in the transfer portal, and a program with a need like Ohio State could easily see the opportunity to capitalize by grabbing a dynamic player like Ward.
Ward spent the last two seasons on The Palouse after transferring to Washington State from Division II Incarnate Word. He started 25 games for the Cougars, throwing for more than 6,400 yards and 43 touchdowns while adding 11 more scores on the ground.
Also noted in the 247sports article, Dante Moore, a former UCLA QB and Detroit native, was pegged to Michigan State. Michigan is believed to be a front-runner for the former five-star recruit.
