TheBigLead.com’s Ty Duffy published an article stating why he thinks Texas should join the Big Ten. Duffy notes that not only could the B1G handle Texas’ Longhorn Network, but it would be a good cultural fit. Here’s how a 16-team Big Ten Conferences would look (if Oklahoma also tagged along):
East: Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Penn State, Maryland, Rutgers, Indiana, Purdue
West: Texas, Oklahoma, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Iowa, Minnesota, Illinois, Northwestern
Notre Dame has also been rumored to be a school possibly looking at joining the Big Ten.
