Burney, the No.120 recruit in 2018, talked with Diehard Sport following the scholarship.
“Right now, I’m just considering the offer and being grateful. Going to let it sit in for a minute and then I’ll see what’s up,” Burney said about where the Wolverines stand.
Asked if he could see himself playing in Ann Arbor, the 6-foot-1, 205-pounder shared his excitement: “Are you kidding? Of course I could see that. Playing in front of over a hundred thousand, that’s crazy.”
The Wolverines are after one of Burney’s 2017 teammates – four-star RB CJ Cotman.
