After Utah released their depth chart this morning, Michigan football put out its own version Monday afternoon, and it’s either Shane Morris OR Jake Rudock as the starting quarterback. Some other notes are as follows….
- De’Veon Smith is the first team tailback with Derrick Green and Ty Isaac behind
- Amara Darboh/Drake Harris and Jehu Chesson/Grant Perry are the listed WR pairings
- The starting offensive line is set with Mason Cole, Ben Braden, Graham Glasgow, Kyle Kalis, Erik Magnuson
- D-line starters are Willie Henry, Ryan Glasgow, Chris Wormley/Matt Godin and Mario Ojemudia
- Starting linebackers are Desmond Morgan, Joe Bolden and James Ross
- Jabrill Peppers listed as the starting SS with Jarrod Wilson at FS
- Jourdew Lewis and Channing Stribling are the starting CBs
- Placekicker is either Kenny Allen or Kyle Seychel
- Punter is either Kenny Allen or Blake O’Neil
- Both Jabrill Peppers and Jehu Chesson are listed as the punt and kick returners
- Wayne Lyons is listed as the backup SS to Peppers with Dymonte Thomas
- Freshman Alex Malzone is the third-string QB with Wilton Speight
- RB Drake Johnson isn’t listed on chart and apparently won’t be playing (recovering from ACL injury)
