Michigan lost out to Ohio State for four-star offensive lineman Michael Jordan on Thursday. Jordan, a Plymouth, Michigan native, explained to the Detroit Free Press that his reason for picking the Buckeyes over the Wolverines was because of ‘academics’.
“Ohio State’s a great school, and I committed there because of academics,” he told the Free Press today. “I wanted to major in international business and minor in Chinese, and Ohio State has both of those.
According to Forbes, Michigan is the No. 45 best college in the United States while Ohio State is No. 155. A google search indicates that Michigan offers both the major and minor Jordan was hoping to get at Ohio State.
